CERT is coming to SLV!

What is CERT? Local government prepares for everyday emergencies. However, during a disaster, the number and scope of incidents can overwhelm conventional emergency services. The Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program trains volunteers to assist in their neighborhood in an emergency situation.
Mountain Neighbor's Network, a program of Mountain Community Resources, is starting up a SLV CERT training program this fall, and we need an advisory board, trainers, and volunteer team leaders! The ideal candidates will be former volunteer or paid firefighters, medics and or law enforcement personnel but anyone who is interested is welcome to come.
